What is the Minato Line One-Day Free Pass with Hitachi Seaside Park Admission Ticket?
This ticket includes admission to the National Hitachi Seaside Park and a one-day unlimited ride pass for the Hitachinaka Seaside Railway Minato Line.
Starting from March 18, 2026, you can purchase mobile tickets through the Jorudan "Transfer Guide" app. This allows you to complete your ticket purchase, boarding, and entry all using just your smartphone, without having to stand in line at the ticket counter.
During the nemophila and kochia seasons, the ticket counter at Katsuta Station can get crowded, so purchasing your tickets in advance on your smartphone will allow you to start your sightseeing smoothly.

Adults can enjoy the best deal, saving 150 yen compared to purchasing separately. For children under junior high school age, entry to the seaside park is free, so there is no price difference. However, the convenience of managing both the ride ticket and the entrance ticket with a single app is a great advantage!
To use the silver fare, you will need to present an age verification document such as a driver's license. Infants (preschool children) can travel for free, with a limit of two per paying adult.
Seasonal rates are not available.
At the National Hitachi Seaside Park, there is a "seasonal fee period" that corresponds with the peak blooming times of nemophila and kochia. During this period, an additional 350 yen is added to the regular entrance fee, making it 800 yen for adults and 560 yen for seniors.
This set ticket cannot be used during the seasonal pricing period. For spring 2026, the seasonal pricing period is set from April 3rd to May 6th. Please also note that the ticket cannot be used on the closed days of the seaside park.
Nemophila typically begins to bloom in late March, and you can also enjoy the early green period of Kochia as it starts to change color. If you plan your visit just before or after the peak season pricing, you can avoid the crowds while still taking advantage of the great deals on combination tickets. We highly recommend this approach!

In addition, there are two-day passes available (500 yen for adults and 250 yen for seniors) as well as annual passports (4,500 yen for adults and 2,100 yen for seniors). If you present a disability certificate, both the individual and one accompanying person can enter for free.
The free admission days for the year 2026 are May 10th and 17th (for everyone), September 21st (for those aged 65 and over), and September 26th and 27th (for everyone).
How to Buy
Download the free "Jorudan Transfer Guide" app from the App Store or Google Play, and select and purchase your Hitachinaka Seaside Railway tickets from the "Tickets" tab within the app.

How to Use
On the day of your ride, press the "Use Ticket" button in the app to activate your ticket. Please note that the ticket is only valid on the day you press the button, so make sure to do this on the day of your journey. You must start using it within one month of purchase.
When getting on and off the Minato Line, please clearly show the color bar displayed on the screen to the train driver or station staff. At the seaside park, please present the screen showing your admission ticket at the entrance window.
Please be careful to keep your smartphone charged, as your ticket will become invalid if you are unable to display it due to a dead battery.
About Cancellations
You can cancel your ticket before pressing the "Use Ticket" button. A cancellation fee of 220 yen will apply. Refunds are not available after the service has started.

The Hitachinaka Seaside Railway Minato Line is a local train that connects a total of 11 stations from Katsuta Station to Ajigaura Station. With a one-day free pass, you can hop on and off as you please. Enjoy sightseeing along the line, especially in combination with the seaside park!
